*Returning this year, kids and adults tricycle races at 4:30 P.M. on North Ann Arbor Street.
Kids and adults just can't get enough of Summerfest. And what's not to like? Just look at all you will have to choose from...
- Ladder Ball and Baggo
- Watermelon Eating Contest @ 1:00 pm
- Egg Toss Contest @ 1:30 pm
- Inflatabale Obstacle Course and Bouncer from Saline Parks and Recreation
- Putting Green
- Bean Bag Toss
- And others..
Wrist bands are required to participate and can be purchased
on the day of the event for $4 with unlimited access to all activities.
Prizes will be offered.
Games are best suited for children 2 to 8 years of age.

“Touch a Truck”
It is your one chance to get up close and personal with the following
vehicles:
1. Fire Department Truck
2. HVA small ambulance
3. D.A.R.E. Vehicle
4. Braun tractor
5. LaFontaine big truck (Lafontaine is deciding which one)
6. Senior Center - Shuttle Bus
7. Tow Truck from America One
8. Saline Police Department Armored Vehicle, barring unforeseen emergencies.
9. Electric Vehicles: Porsche Boxter conversion, Chevrolet S10 pickup conversion, 2011 Think City electric. The following maybe showing:1999 Ranger EV, 1962 Sprite conversion, 2010 Leaf, and 2009 Tesla roadster.
The trucks will be parked on Hall Rd. on August 11, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Stop by and visit with the Fireman, the police officer, and the EMT’s.
Youth Fishing Contest at Mill Pond Park

Rules and Information
The
rods and reels and gift cards given as prizes in the Youth Fishing Contest
have been generously donated by Cabela's of Dundee.
Contest is for kids 14 and under with three age group:
6 years and younger
7 to 10 years
11 to 14 years
There is no entry fee. Prizes awarded for MOST fish and BIGGEST fish in
each age group at the end of the contest.
Sign-up begins at 7:30 am, Fishing begins at 8:00 am. The contest lasts
until 10:00 am.
Entrants must have at least two hours of fishing to be eligible for a
prize.
Worms will be furnished by Holy Faith Church. Entrants must bring their
own fishing poles (limit of two) and hooks. Entrants must land their own
fish, parents may help with casting only, and all fish caught must be
released after counting and measuring.

Co-ed Fours - Pre-registration encouraged
Maximum 3 men. Minimum 1 women.
$10.00 per team.
Final Registration 9:00 am
Tournament 9:30 am -2
Youth Division available with sufficient participation.
First place team wins a volleyball.

Rubber Duck Race @ Curtiss Park 3:00 pm
The Rubber Duck Race is a Fundraiser for Saline Rotary. Proceeds to support Saline Rotary Club's Community Projects. The race is to be held on Saline River in Curtiss Park.
Prizes awarded for the first 10 ducks to cross the finish lne. $300, $200, and $100 for first three places, $50 each for 4th – 10th. A bottle of Cold Duck for the last to finish.
Entry fee: $10.00 per duck or $20.00 for 3 ducks.
