Saturday from 2 – 4 pm 212 Arts Center will be presenting “A Very Prickly Friendship” –
Ron, Huw, Dori, Elyana, Doctor E, and Rocko aren’t your ordinary globe-trotting group of friends…they’re also balloon animals! The lion, turtle, dog, giraffe, elephant, and monkey are such close friends that they finish each other’s sentences…and sandwiches! They travel the world together, have adventures, and love to make new friends. But sometimes, making new friends can be a dangerous thing. When the group comes across a lonely porcupine named Percival, the balloon animals have to think fast before their prickly would-be companion gets a little too close for comfort!
The play is written and directed by Katherine Downie and will performed by students from the 212 Arts Center Drama Camp.
FREE Tricycle races for all ages…and all sizes.
Children can race against other children their own age or families can race against each other…parents versus their children. No one is too young or too old! (We will help push the young racers) Lots of prizes can be won!
